Future Protection
09.04.2023If you wish to engage in similar activities again or just make sure that you are better protected or have an easier time recovering in case of future breaches, there are a few things that you can do.
Below is a non-exhaustive list with a few examples of what you might want to look at. If you want a full consult on the best ways to protect yourself, I would be happy to talk further.
- Change all your passwords. Preferably on no more than a month rolling basis. Ensure at least 100 bits of entropy. Have your passwords tested by a trusted hacker if not able yourself to ensure no leaks found on dark webs.
- Enable 2FA EVERYWHERE.
- Use a VPN on all non-trusted networks. That means any network that you do not have 100% control over, which in your case would probably be all networks.
- Regular device scanning of malware.
- Monitor activity logs for unknown logins.
